Two types of digital filters For processing PCM format signals, the D-07 offers

the pre-echo effect in the impulse waveform, helping to reproduce the leading
edge of the sound more naturally. WORD SYNC enables synchronized playback with
external devices WORD SYNC effectively reduces jitter that occurs while
transferring audio signals, delivering high-speed and high-quality sound that is
delicate yet full of presence. This function also offers the word output
mode, which enables WORD SYNC-capable source devices to connect with the word
output generated by the D-07.Likewise, there is also a word input mode, which
inputs a high-density word clock from an external master clock generator (such
as an ESOTERIC G-03X). This incremental (and optional) hardware mode enables you
to upgrade to a more sophisticated system at a later time. 2nd PLL mode helps to

The two types of PLL circuits, each with different characteristics, effectively
remove transmission jitter. If a signal is input from a device without WORD SYNC,

SA-10, newly designed, engineered and manufactured by Esoteric, offers high

SA-10 features our proprietary disc transport system which was developed as a
vertically aligned optical stability platform ("VOSP"). The VOSP mechanism was
first used in our UZ-1, SZ-1, DV-60 and SA-60. The benefit of this transport is
that it reduces vibrations and resonance associated with signal noise and
eliminates the need for off axis error correction. Unlike conventional disc
players where the optics are supported by a wire platform, no off axis tracking
is allowed by the VOSP system. This greatly improves data retrieval and

a step up from the X-05, the X-03SE provides high quality 2ch audio output for
SACD/CD reproduction. The X-03SE is the first ESOTERIC "X" series player that
uses a die-cast aluminum and steel VRDS assembly. Specifically designed for the
2 channel audiophile, the X-03SE represents an evolutionary path from the X-01
family. The X-03SE includes an iLINK audio output connector for multi-channel
SACD in the digital domain!To further improve the quality of analog audio
reconstruction on the DAC circuit board, the X-03SE employs a specially designed
DAC transformer to remove all noise generated from the transport mechanism and
digital circuitry. This structure enables a completely pure audio signal.
Burr-Brown 1704 24-bit DACs are used as the audio decoders on all channels. To
further improve the purity of the sound, a two-chip-per-channel differential

X-01D2 is the top end of the highly acclaimed “X” series which includes the
“X-01 and X-01 Limited” audio players and the “UX-1 Limited” audio/video player.
The newly designed X-01D2 was developed for the audiophile whose passion
includes SACD and DSD playback modes. The D2 includes a refined version of the
VRDS-NEO (Vibration free rigid disc clamping system), and the disc tracking sled
assembly from Esoteric’s P-03 disc transport. The multi-bit D/A converter
includes a dual differential implementation for complete left and right channel
separation. As in the X-01 and X-01 Limited, four DACs per channel are used (Burr-Brown
1704 x 8), and each set of four is configured on separate left and right circuit
boards. In addition to multi-bit D/A technology, the D2 version includes native
direct stream digital (DSD) decoding using 1 bit signal processing converter
chips (Analog Devices AD1955), and allows optional PCM to DSD signal conversion
capability. This technology evolves from Esoteric’s separate components used in
the P-03/D-03 playback system. A new disc tray shutter mechanism has been
included for reduction of external noise and airborne contaminants. Other
features include WORD clock input, i.LINK terminal with flow rate control,
digital and analog multi-channel audio outputs, “nextgen™” RCA terminals,
dedicated unbalanced and balanced audio outputs for 2 channel playback, a
coreless spindle motor and Esoteric’s neodymium magnet system. Unlike most CD/SACD
players, the use of VRDS-NEO, combined with Esoteric’s proprietary disc tracking

an analog to digital converter plus a master clock sync generator. This model is
truly unique to the high end audio business. The AI-10 provides high speed, high

large toroidal power transformer. The analog to digital converter allows high
sampling rate conversion at 192 kHz/176.4kHz for analog input signals. The unit

has introduced a triode tube amplifier that can be used as a stereo power
amplifier or as an integrated amplifier. This new hybrid technology incorporates
proprietary circuitry and "cutting edge" tube technology.The A-100 provides a
minimum of 45 w/ch power output from KT-88's in UL-push/pull operation driven
with a direct coupled cathode follower. The cathode follower and voltage
amplification stage is directly coupled to form a triple stage combining a
variable self-biasing system ("VBS"), and a zero voltage control system ("ZVS").
VBS is an advanced active biasing circuit. VBS compensates for fluctuations in
bias voltage as supplied to the output stage by detecting cathode current and
output level demand. VBS improves linearity and performance of the output stage
by maintaining optimum voltage control. The innovative ZVS circuit (Patent
pending), stabilizes the cathode follower DC output level to improve operation
of directly-coupled circuit components. This occurs in an end to end process
from the driver stage to the output stage. Both of these circuits combine to
improve the stability and the clarity of the amplifier's output.The A-100
features a newly designed custom output transformer designed to achieve highly
delicate and precise musicality. The amplifier uses specially treated copper
foil as the 2nd order coil. This design maintains very tight coupling properties
between the 1st order coil. All stages except the KT-88 are powered by fully
stabilized power supplies. With this innovative power supply design, the AT-100
reproduces an exceptionally deep and finely detailed soundstage. All tubes
except the KT-88 are DC heated. Hum noise is reduced by this heater design.
Power supply and output transformers are held by an extremely rigid 'H'
structure and circuit components reside in a block configuration surrounding
this mainframe design. The massive chassis construction isolates unwanted
vibrations and resonance between circuit components and power supplies.The A-100
is designed for pure power amplification but it also works as an integrated
amplifier by selection from an operating switch on the rear panel designating
DIRECT or LINE IN. LINE IN mode activates an input selector (RCA x3 / XLR x1),

edge of the sound more naturally. WORD SYNC enables synchronized playback with

mode, which enables WORD SYNC-capable source devices to connect with the word

DVD up-conversion to high definition "HD" output levels at 480p, 720p and 1080i.
This is achieved from your existing DVD collection, without having to buy new
software! Compatible software includes DVD-video, DVD-audio, SACD, CD, DVD-R/RW,
CD-R/RW and Video-CD. Digital video signals are passed to a compatible display
through the UX-3SE's DVI output connector. High quality 24 bit Burr Brown DACs
(2 chips per channel), are used in a differential configuration for front L+R
channels with a specially designed DAC transformer. This helps to insure superb
audio output signals. High cabinet rigidity, isolation platform designs and the
VRDS transport mechanism used have all evolved from designs of the Esoteric X-01
and UX-1 series. The new UX-3SE provides VRDS-Neo technology for the first time
in an Esoteric audio/video player priced below $10,000. Digital audio outputs
for 2 channel and multi-channel include coax digital, optical and iLink (IEEE
1394). High quality balanced audio outputs (L+R) are also included. Construction
& Design A three-part chassis design is used to support the heavy VRDS-NEO
mechanism and to prevent electrical interference between each circuit. The
mechanism is centered within the chassis for stability. The chassis is supported
by three pinpoint feet (patent pending), made of quenched steel, allowing the
unit to be mechanically isolated from its environment. Thick aluminum is used on
