Using the latest version of Hegel renowned SoundEngine amplifier modules it

Regular digital inputs is a new feature on the H70. There are two digital inputs.

The P30 is the best preamplifier ever developed by Hegel. With its patented
technology and hand matched components, the P30 is a confident contender in the

Despite of what many hifi enthusiasts believe, pre amplifiers are actually one
of the most difficult audio components to develop. At the same time it is one of
the most important components in a well sounding system. The reason is that the
signal strength is very low when entering the pre amplifier, and is therefore
very susceptible high frequency noise and distortion elements. The most critical
phase in the pre amplifier is the volume regulation, and in the P30 this is a
master piece in it self. The physical volume control knob is only used to
describe the desired volume output level to the array of Gigahertz
MOS-transistors. These direct the music signal through a network of high quality
resistors that reduce the signal level. After the volume control circuit
the signal is directed through the amplification circuit. For the first time
ever we are using the patented SoundEngine technology in the pre amplifier.
Combined with Hegel's use of hand matched FET transistors, this results in
unsurpassed levels of musical distortion and noise. In total, the music signal
will only pass through 2 transistors and between 1 to 3 resistors on its way
through the P30.The sound you hear from the P30 can only be described as organic

This technology reduce a very specific type of distortion called Harmonic
Distortion. This particular type of distortion causes what many people call
"transistor sound", and this is therefore dramatically reduced in the H30.
It will simply let the music reach you in a different way than what you have
ever experienced before. Normally, when you compare a less powerful amplifier
with a more powerful amplifier, the most powerful will have a more potent bass,
more attack and more "SLAM" than the less powerful one. This is how it works up
to a certain point. The Hegel H30 is beyond this point, and all of a sudden the

deep, but not dominating. The level of detail in the high frequencies are

processing from the CD-drive and to the outputs. The unbalanced outputs are
converted to a single ended signal directly from the balanced outputs, keeping
the signal in the balanced domain as long as possible. What is the difference
between the CDP2A mk2 and the CDP4A mk2? The CDP2A mk2 is using a less advanced
audio board than the CDP4A mk2. Is the CDP2A mk2 using upsampling? The CDP2A mk2
is using syncronised upsampling and 24 bit 192kHz DACs together with a highly
accurate discrete master clock circuit. The SuperClock master reference clock
has got clock jitter less than 14ps. How can I use the pause function when
playing a CD? While the CDP2A mk2 is playing a CD the pause function can be
activated by pressing the play button on the CDP2A mk2 or the play button on the
remote control. The pause function is indicated by the text "PAUSE" flashing in
the display. To restart the track from pause, press play once more. can I open
the CD-loader from the Hegel remote control? When the CD has stopped playing the
CD loader can be opened by holding down the "STOP" knob on the remote control
for 1-2 seconds. After loading a CD the CD loader can be closed by pushing the
"PLAY" knob on the remote control. What kind of CD-drive is used in the CDP2A
mk2? The CD-servo board is developed in-house by Hegel and the laser assembly is
