ThermalTrak™ Output Transistors are utilized for improved bias stability and
enhanced low level linearity. The McIntosh Power Assurance System: Sentry
Monitor fuse-less short circuit protection; Power Guard anti-clipping circuit
and peak-reading Wattmeters, insure trouble free operation and low distortion
performance over the long term. A hybrid preamplifier with input switching, tone
controls, and a host of other user-adjustable parameters is integral to the
amplifier chassis. Very low noise solid state input circuitry and a vacuum

The
new McIntosh MT-10, our first-ever turntable, marries classic McIntosh glass
front panel cosmetics with serious mechanics to create a unique, ready-to-play
LP solution that’s sure to please Mac aficionados everywhere. The base, a damped
sandwich of stainless steel and acrylic plate, provides a resonance-free
foundation. A massive acrylic platter spins on a custom magnetic bearing while a
regulated power supply drives a super-quiet brushless Swiss DC motor. Unmatched
accuracy is derived from a new electronic speed control that references 1,595
strobe markings per revolution of the platter. Speed selections of 331/3, 45, or
78 RPM are made from the front panel and are registered on a blue backlit
McIntosh meter. A custom tonearm features a rigid dural-aluminum arm-tube
gimbaled in two sapphire (horizontal) and two ceramic (vertical) bearings for
the least possible friction. A 0.5mV moving-coil cartridge features an ebony
body and a unique elliptical stylus design that enables playback of 78 RPM

Our
new MA2275 combines the world class performance characteristics of our highly
acclaimed tube control and power amplifiers into one, compact chassis. Created
to make the most of both new and venerable technology, the MA2275 relies on
vacuum tubes for all signal amplification, with incredible results.Rated at 75
watts per channel into 2, 4, or 8 ohm loads the MA2275 uses four 12AX7A's in the
Preamplifier section, two 12AT7's and four KT88/6550 in the Poweramp section.If
you've been fortunate enough to spend time with a classic McIntosh amp, you know
that in addition to having their own distinct look - the famous Blue Eyes power
meters - they also have their own distinct sound. Mac amps have their own way of
doing things, and the sound they create presents a powerful argument in favor of
their approach. Their legendary Unity Coupled Output Transformer is a classic
example of this. This output design uses two bifilar wound primaries - one for
the plates, as is normal, and a second for the cathodes. Instead of drawing all
the output power from the plates, as other tube design are wound to do, the
Unity Coupled design draws from both the plates and the cathodes. This greatly
reduces the output distortion - always a problem in tube designs. By mixing the
secondary windings in amongst the primaries, coupling is improved - flattening
the output frequency response and improving the power bandwidth.

and newly developed control circuits. It has all the flexibility modern systems

gas. These switches are located adjacent to the input/output jacks, virtually

C2300 Vacuum Tube Preamplifier combines a suite of potent engineering
enhancements with smart, user-programmable features to deliver a truly
extraordinary audio preamplifier. Each input may have the bass, treble, and
mono/stereo mode adjusted and stored in memory. When individual inputs are
selected, these settings will engage as preset by the listener. All adjustments
may be made either from the frontpanel or remote control. Two 12AX7a Vacuum
Tubes are used for each of three sections: the Moving Magnet phono section, the
Moving Coil section, and the high-level preamp section. Its phono sections are
fully adjustable “on the fly,” so the listener may change impedance or loading
settings as the record plays. A high performance headphone amplifier with a 1/4"

and detailed soundstage. Their legendary Unity Coupled Output Transformer uses
two bifilar wound primaries - one for the plates, as is normal, and a second for
the cathodes. Instead of drawing all the output power from the plates, as many
other designs do, the Unity Coupled design draws from both the plates and the
cathodes. This greatly reduces the output distortion - always a problem in tube
designs. By mixing the secondary windings in amongst the primaries, coupling is
improved -flattening the output frequency response and improving the power
bandwidth. The MC275 Vacuum Tube Amplifier was designed and engineered by

McIntosh created the MC2000 tube amplifier to commemorate their 50th Anniversary,
even they were surprised by the firestorm of critical acclaim and demand which
it engendered. Now they have designed another amplifier for what has become
their 2000 Series of Limited Edition Components. The MC2102 Vacuum Tube
Amplifier shares key characteristics with the MC2000, including the fact that
they were both designed and engineered by McIntosh co-founder Sidney Corderman.
Rated at 100 watts x 2 or 200 watts x 1, the MC2102 uses eight tubes in each
channel. Balanced Input and inversion is handled by a pair of 12AX7's. Twin
12AT7's provide voltage amplification and driver functions, feeding two pair of
either KT-88s or 6550's. Configured for stereo, the MC2102 can power 2, 4, or
8-ohm loads. In parallel mono configuration it pushes 1,2,or 4-ohm loads and as
a bridged mono device it drives 4, 8, or 16-ohm loads. If you've been fortunate
enough to spend time with a classic McIntosh amp, you know that in addition to
having their own distinct look - the famous Blue Eyes power meters - they also
have their own distinct sound. Mac amps have their own way of doing things, and
the sound they create presents a powerful argument in favor of their approach.

automatically switch over to the 4-ohm position if the amplifier is driven hard.
This switch adjusts both the output transistor rail voltages as well as bias
level to maintain ultra low distortion. DPMTM allows the MC207 to be optimized
for whatever speakers are used. the chassis is mirror polished Stainless Steel
as used on the MC402 and other McIntosh amplifiers. The power transformer and
filter capacitors are housed in traditional McIntosh drawn aluminum cans with a
durable powder coat finish. The 5 heat sinks are fully exposed for maximum
ventilation. The MC207 has the traditional McIntosh 9" tall glass faceplate with
three wattmeters for front channel power indication. The meters and front panel
are illuminated with Fiber Optic Light Diffusers and Light Emitting Diodes (LED)

Today’s
AC power is littered with byproduct from the operation of millions of personal
computers, satellite set-top boxes and myriad other noise inducing devices. This
noise, which reaches into the megahertz region, eludes the capabilities of many
traditional audio and video power supplies and presents a performance impediment
to those who seek the very best from their systems. The MPC1500 Power
Controller, the first-ever such product from McIntosh, provides total isolation,
low noise, and maximum power transfer to enable the best performance possible
from your McIntosh components. The MPC1500 employs a large torroidal transformer
that has been specially wound to act as a low pass filter to remove unwanted
harmonic noise on the incoming Mains as well as noise from electric motors,
lighting dimmers, and other sources of interference found inside the home.
Because it utilizes a transformer, the MPC1500 decouples all connected
components from the Mains allowing for efficient attenuation of induced noise
from 1 KHz to 1 MHz. The MPC1500 thus maximizes the operating efficiency of all
connected components. Superb manufacturing technique and quality control insure
that the MPC1500 transformer is completely silent, emitting no audible noise of
its own. The decision to utilize a more expensive, transformerbased noise
suppression solution in the MPC1500 yields an important collateral benefit; it
has the effect of lowering the transient impedance of the Mains. The result is
that all components, most notably power amplifiers, are able to draw current
more effectively when connected through the MPC1500 than when connected directly
to the Mains outlet. The nature of music, which can be at turns furiously
dynamic and incredibly complex, places enormous demands on the power amplifier.
With the MPC1500 in circuit both tone and timbre remain remarkably true to life;
imaging is clear and dynamic contrasts are resolved no matter the intensity of
the playback material. The MPC1500 provides that last bit of refinement from
which even the most sophisticated systems can benefit.
