internal switching for two pairs of speakers and tone controls as well as a

engineers at NAD are always looking to add that last little bit of performance.

C525BEE is lead-free in its construction and meets the strictest environmental

circuit that reads and tracks the CD to improve performance with the latest

Il compact disc Super Audio
offre un sensibile miglioramento delle prestazioni soniche quando confrontato
con il CD standard. Il SACD fa uso di un approccio fondamentalmente differente
per convertire le forme d’onda analogiche musicali nel dominio digitale per la
registrazione sul disco. La tecnica si chiama Direct Stream Digital ed è
largamente considerata come una decodifica digitale di qualità superiore. Questo
processo richiede un’altissima velocità di elaborazione che, alla nascita del
formato CD, non era disponibile. L’elevato flusso dei dati evita gli errori di
quantizzazione inerenti al processo PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) usato per i CD e
DVD tradizionali. La superiorità del SACD rispetto al CD si esprime in una
risposta alle alte frequenze più estesa, un dettaglio superiore e un suono di
qualità più vicina all’analogico.
Molte persone possiedono tuttavia un’ampia collezione di CD e, fortunatamente,
l’M5 contiene circuitazioni sofisticate per ottenere il miglior suono possibile
dalle registrazioni CD esistenti. L’apparecchio include inoltre un
decodificatore HDCD che, in quei CD appositamente codificati e ampiamente
disponibili, può aumentare la gamma dinamica di 6dB. Assicurato il pieno
supporto dei CD-R e CD-RW, l’M5 legge persino i dischi MP3 e WMA offrendo molte
ore di ascolto da un singolo disco.Il formato SACD offre inoltre la possibilità
di riproduzione di suono surround 5.1, quindi l’M5 è equipaggiato per trarre il
massimo da queste esaltanti nuove registrazioni multicanale. Nell’apparecchio è
prevista una sofisticata gestione delle basse frequenze (ridirezionamento) per
l’uscita 5.1. Tramite i controlli del pannello frontale è possibile configurare
diverse configurazioni dei diffusori visualizzabili sul display VFD. E’
possibile ottenere un alto livello di ottimizzazione tramite l’uscita video
composito usando l’On Screen Display dell’M5. Quest’uscita video risulta comoda
anche per la gestione della riproduzione MP3. Poiché è logico aspettarsi che la
gran parte degli M5 verranno inseriti in sistemi solo audio, il circuito video
può essere escluso per assicurare le prestazioni audio di massima pulizia.Tra le
linee guida del progetto si legge: ”Il design industriale deve creare una
presenza fisica che sia potente, dinamica e solida, allo stesso tempo essere
raffinato ed elegante”. Si voleva realizzare un design che potesse apparire
ancora nuovo e aggiornato tra un decennio, un design di proporzioni classiche
curato nei minimi dettagli. L’uso intelligente di estrusioni di alluminio,
pressofusioni di zinco e acciaio di grosso spessore ha portato a ottenere un
telaio che è tanto robusto quanto bello. L’uso innovativo di speciali
rivestimenti e laminazioni ha permesso di ottenere un prodotto che manterrà la
sua bellezza per molti anni a venire.Poiché i dati ad alta densità registrati
sul SACD devono essere letti con accuratezza assoluta, qualsiasi vibrazione
originata esternamente o internamente, quali quelle generate dallo stadio di
alimentazione, inficerà la qualità del suono. Nel NAD M5 sono stati previsti una
serie di accorgimenti per eliminare queste sgradite vibrazioni, dal telaio in
acciaio di grosso spessore accuratamente progettato agli speciali piedini
isolanti in gomma siliconica.Percorsi di segnali distinti per CD e SACD
preservano la massima qualità possibile dai rispettivi formati. Le uscite audio

TosLink.Il NAD M5 implementa convertitori D/A di livello professionale con
risoluzione a 24 bit, 192kHz per i segnali PCM del CD, nonché uno speciale modo

Separates
vs. Receiver Separate components have always been used in professional
applications, and occupy the highest tier of performance for consumer
electronics products. Simply put, the receiver concept makes compromises in
performance and flexibility in favor of convenience and price. This is
especially true for the power amplifier section of the receiver. The large power
supply and output stage heat sinks of the power amp must be compromised to fit
in the single chassis format of the receiver. These high power parts can also
cause interference with the lowvoltage sensitive circuits used in preamplifier,
tuner and decoder sections of the receiver. The T175 combines all the control
and decoding functions in one compact chassis, giving up nothing to the
convenience of the receiver, yet by separating the power amp stages gives a big

T585 also incorporates High Definition Digital Interface (HDMI) with HDCP
encryption, allowing high definition audio and video signals to be transferred
between source components, processors, and video displays in a pure digital
format. DVD Video can be watched in normal of progressive scan mode (providing
your display supports progressive signal). When using HDMI connectivity, you
will also take advantage of the Faroujda DCDi chip that effectively upconverts
standard (480 lines) to the High Definition formats of 720p or 1080i. Naturally,
the T585 also supports all the popular DVD-Video features such as fast and slow
scan, multi-language, multi-angle, A-B repeat and last scene bookmarking.
However, unlike many “universal” DVD players, the T585 does not convert the
